What is Automotive Forum Moldova 2025?
On September 20, 2025, Arena Chișinău became the epicenter of the local automotive aftermarket, hosting Automotive Forum Moldova 2025 — the most important event dedicated to the automotive market and aftermarket sector in the Republic of Moldova. Organized by Automall, the forum brought together over 1,800 specialists, leading companies, and engineers from across the country, offering a comprehensive platform for networking, technical presentations, and exhibitions.
For the Formula Student Team UTM, participating in this event was more than just an exhibition; it was an opportunity for practical validation of the engineering solutions developed by the team and for presenting academic innovation to the automotive community in the Republic of Moldova.

Where did we choose to showcase our latest developments?
Beyond networking opportunities, we came to the forum with clear evidence of our technical progress. We managed to finalize and bring into the spotlight three critical components of our future single-seater:
• The single-seater’s nose – which completes the vehicle’s front aerodynamics.

• The custom steering wheel – developed entirely from scratch, undergoing a complex process of prototyping and ergonomic calibration of the buttons.

• Steering rack – a system optimized for quick response in tight corners.
To get the prototype on the road, we once again benefited from the help provided by Micro Lab, which supplied us with the tires needed to participate in the event, thus contributing to the complete and functional presentation of the single-seater.

Which of our industry partners supported us?
The platform provided by Automall facilitated our direct interaction with experts, but the most important moment was reuniting with our trusted sponsors from Porsche Center Moldova. Our dialogue with them and other industry leaders reaffirmed that the support given to our team goes beyond resources, representing a real investment in the next generation of automotive engineers.

How did we engage with visitors through interactive engineering?
Our booth featured an interactive technical memory game created specifically for the community. Visitors who accepted the challenge tested their attention and automotive knowledge, receiving an official stamp on their tickets in return. This stamp ensured their direct participation in the grand prize raffle organized at the end of the evening by Automall, transforming our booth into one of the most dynamic spots at Arena Chișinău.

What impact did our presence have, and what results did we achieve?
The presence of our components at the Automotive Forum Moldova attracted the attention of specialists in the automotive and aftermarket sectors, their interest confirming the quality of the design work carried out by the students. Discussions with engineers and company representatives provided us with valuable feedback and essential contacts for the future development of the single-seater.
