What is the KULTURA Autofestival?
KULTURA is a festival entirely dedicated to automotive culture, serving as a hub for connecting enthusiasts, builders, and industry professionals. The event, held on August 9 and 10, offered a comprehensive program that included workshops, car exhibitions, conferences, and interactive zones, transforming the atmosphere into a fully immersive experience in the world of motoring.
Where did we choose to debut?
The Formula Student Team UTM chose the KULTURA Autofestival as the official platform for launching our prototype. This event provided the ideal setting to present our project to a passionate community, serving as the central hub where we interacted directly with the public and industry experts.
What technical solutions did we present, and who supported us?
Formula Student Team UTM finalized the suspension system specifically for this event, putting into practice and integrating onto the chassis the design solutions developed in the workshop, thereby successfully implementing and testing technical solutions specific to Formula Student competitions.
The single-seater highlighted the design work and functionality of the components developed in the UTM workshop, being presented in a complete configuration thanks to the assistance provided by Micro Lab, which supplied us with the set of wheels necessary for assembling and displaying the vehicle. This support helped ensure an accurate assessment of the single-seater’s proportions, technical design, and overall appearance by the festival audience.
What impact did our presence have and what results did we achieve?
The prototype immediately attracted the attention of representatives from the automotive industry and motorsport professionals; the interest shown by these experts confirmed the technical value of our work and validated the development direction chosen by the Formula Student Team UTM.
Participating in KULTURA provided the team with valuable contacts in the engineering and motorsport sectors, giving a major boost to the next stages and laying the foundation for refining the car in preparation for our future performances on international circuits.
