What happened at the event?

Our participation in Chișinău Maker Faire 2025 was marked by the display of the main components of the future race car.

In the area dedicated to makers, the focus was on the manufacturing process and the technical solutions adopted. The booth functioned as an open workshop, where visitors could closely examine the project’s progress.

What was presented at the event?

At Chișinău Maker Faire 2025, our presentation focused on the fundamental mechanical components of the race car.

The booth functioned as an open technical section, where we showcased the precision of the frame construction, the functional design of the suspension, and the complexity of the engine systems. We presented the components individually to highlight the technical details of the chassis, the bodywork, and the engine structure.

Who supported us?

The event was the ideal platform to highlight our partnerships, which already officially include Porsche Center Moldova. They, along with the other sponsors who believed in the project, provided us with the necessary resources to move from the design phase to the execution phase. Their support underscores the importance of collaboration between the makers of the Formula Student Team UTM and leaders in the automotive industry.

How did the interaction go?

As makers in the Formula Student Team UTM, our main activity was engaging in technical discussions with curious visitors. We discussed the engineering behind the chassis, the materials used in the body, and the engine specifications. It was a rare opportunity for the public to see the internal structure of a race car before it was fully assembled.

This experience reaffirmed that innovation comes to life only through collaboration and the exchange of ideas. Sharing our enthusiasm with visitors and the feedback we received showed us that our work extends beyond the walls of the lab, becoming a source of inspiration for the entire engineering community. We concluded the event with the certainty that every part on display is a sure step toward the performance we aim for on the track.
