What is Arena Auto Fest?
Arena Auto Fest was the biggest automotive event of the year in Moldova, transforming the Arena Chișinău into a hub of performance and technology. Over the course of two days, more than 150 top-of-the-line cars were on display, attracting thousands of visitors. For the Formula Student UTM Team, this festival provided the perfect setting to interact with the automotive industry’s elite and showcase the strength of academic engineering.

The members of the Formula Student UTM team demonstrated thorough preparation, capturing the experts’ attention with the professionalism with which they presented the project’s objectives. They also showed everyone that the Formula Student Team UTM is a united force, ready to set new standards in local engineering.
The spirit of initiative displayed at the festival yielded immediate results: our first interaction with Porsche Center Moldova, the official representative of the performance brand in our country. There, we also benefited from the energy and support of Raw Boost Energy, an official partner of the festival, and exchanged ideas with experts such as those from ABT Moldova.
The active networking carried out by Formula Student Team UTM and the compelling presentation of our values laid the foundation for a strategic partnership. This collaboration, which began at Arena Auto Fest, demonstrates that the vision of Formula Student Team UTM consistently attracts suitable partners, with Porsche subsequently becoming one of the project’s core supporters.
What’s next?
Arena Auto Fest 2023 was the starting point for lasting professional relationships that changed the team’s trajectory. That participation validated our vision and gave the Formula Student UTM team the necessary momentum to move from theoretical concepts to rigorous technical execution.
We now look confidently toward the future, where every assembled part brings us closer to the starting line of international competitions in this field. Our goal remains unchanged: to carry the name of the Technical University of Moldova onto the world’s racetracks and to proudly represent the engineering potential of the Republic of Moldova before the whole world.
